Patriots Shooters Requirements
- Must be a current 4th-12th graders, as of Jan 1, 2026
- Ear Protection
- Eye Protection
- Shotgun (12 or 20 gauge)
- Grades 8-12 are required to use 12 12-gauge
- Shooting Pouch or Vest for Ammunition
- 4-H members under 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian over 21 at practices and events
- Hunters’ Safety Course, either in person or online. In-person OR free courses can be found on the TWRA Hunter Education web page.
