The Tennessee 4-H Honor Club recognizes 4-H members in grades 6–12 who demonstrate leadership, dedication, service, and excellence in their 4-H projects. As the first of three levels of 4-H recognition, Honor Club celebrates members who go above and beyond in their clubs and communities.

Honor Club members have opportunities to grow as leaders, serve their communities, strengthen their public-speaking skills, and share their knowledge with others. Through county leadership roles, service projects, and continued involvement in 4-H, members build confidence and make a positive impact in their communities.

The Tennessee 4-H All Stars is the second level of recognition in the 4-H program, following Honor Club. Open to active Honor Club members who have completed the eighth grade, All Star membership is based on a commitment to service — the heart of the All Stars motto.

All Stars provides opportunities for leadership, fellowship, and meaningful service. Each region hosts spring and fall retreats where members come together to build friendships, strengthen leadership skills, and carry out impactful service projects in their communities. The statewide All Star Conference brings members from across Tennessee together to collaborate on service efforts that reach even further.

Through these experiences, All Stars grow as servant leaders who make a lasting difference in their communities and beyond.

Tennessee 4-H Roundup is a capstone experience for high school members, designed to recognize achievement and inspire future growth. Throughout the week, participants present their project work through portfolios and interviews, take part in workshops, service projects, leadership activities, and explore future opportunities at a career fair. Scholarships are awarded to outstanding 4-H’ers, new state council officers are elected, and the prestigious Vol State honor—the highest level of recognition a Tennessee 4-H member can receive—is presented during this event. Whether competing or attending for the experience, youth leave Roundup with new skills, lasting friendships, and memories that celebrate their 4-H journey.

Tennessee 4-H Congress is one of the state’s premier 4-H events, bringing together high school members to learn about government, citizenship, and leadership. Held at the State Capitol in Nashville, Congress gives youth the chance to step into the role of a legislator by debating bills, holding elections, and experiencing how government works firsthand. Delegates also take part in leadership workshops, recognition programs, and service activities. The purpose of 4-H Congress is to help young people better understand their responsibilities as citizens, strengthen their leadership skills, and celebrate the accomplishments of outstanding 4-H’ers across the state.
