4-H Homeschool Club
The Jefferson County 4-H Homeschool Program is a free opportunity for students in 4th through 12th grade to learn, grow, and have fun while developing valuable skills. Students have opportunities to participate in contests, explore a wide variety of 4-H project areas, and build important life skills that will benefit them in all phases of life.
4-H in Public School Classrooms
The Jefferson County 4-H Program reaches the majority of 4th–8th grade classrooms throughout the county, bringing hands-on learning and valuable opportunities directly to youth. During classroom visits, we share information about upcoming afterschool programs, 4-H contests, and other ways students can get involved.
We also provide short, engaging lessons that introduce youth to important life skills such as public speaking, teamwork, goal setting, leadership, and more. Through these experiences, 4-H encourages young people to discover their passions, build confidence, develop leadership skills, and become active leaders in their community.
